Gideon Lewis-Kraus has written reportage and criticism about books and culture for Harper’s, n+1, McSweeney’s, the Guardian, Slate, the Nation, Bookforum, the New York Times, and elsewhere. His genreless, digressive book about restlessness, purpose, and pilgrimage, A Sense of Direction, will appear in the US from Riverhead books in spring 2012. At the moment he lives in Brooklyn.
